There’s nothing quite like Homecoming & Reunion Weekend at Earlham; it’s a chance to reconnect with old friends, celebrate milestone reunions for classes ending in “1” and “6,” cheer on the Quakers, and experience the energy of campus today.
Mark your calendar for October 15–18, 2026, and start making your travel plans. Hotel blocks and lodging information are available now, so you can book your stay early and make plans to return to the Heart.

12:30 p.m. | 50th Anniversary Reunion of the 1976 Eastern European Trip
📍 Forest Hills Country Club, 2169 S 23rd St., Richmond, IN 47374
In June of 1976, 32 brave Earlham students spent eight weeks travelling through the Soviet bloc countries of Eastern Europe. Their travels took them through Eastern Germany, Poland, Czechoslovakia, Hungary, Yugoslavia, Romania, Ukraine and the USSR before concluding in Finland. The faculty leaders were Phil Norman, psychologist, and Bill Harvey in biology were accompanied by their families to what became a remarkable and gutsy experience.
First years later, trip participants, family members and friends are invited to reconnect, share memories and commemorate this unforgettable adventure. Please RSVP to Bill Harvey at [email protected].

Our friendly students will be on hand to provide paddle stroke refreshers, ensuring you glide effortlessly across the water. Don’t have a canoe? No problem! Borrow one of our Old Town canoes and join fellow alumni and friends for an unforgettable outing. We can’t wait to see you there!
