Earlham College will host Richmond's Annual Family Earth Day Celebration from 10 a.m.–2 p.m. Saturday, welcoming the community to campus for a family-friendly day of educational booths, hands-on activities and a native tree giveaway.
Step into the shoes of an admissions officer with a mock case study, get insider tips from our admissions team, tour campus, and hear what life at Earlham is really like from current students during a panel discussion.

The Earlham Symphony Orchestra, with guest community and professional musicians performs an exceptional series of pieces associated with stage and screen. They alternate in mood between light and shadow, reflecting the depths of human experience. The program features classical overtures to stage plays by Beethoven (Goethe's Egmont) and Mendelssohn (Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream), film music from Platoon (the beautiful Adagio for Strings by Samuel Barber), and from Hitchcock's Psycho, concluding with the iconic ballet suite Appalachian Spring by Aaron Copland.

The Earlham community is invited to join New York artist and author Katie Yamasaki '99 for a talk followed by Q&A. Katie Yamasaki is based in Brooklyn, NY, and is an award winning author, illustrator, and muralist whose books and public art have been widely recognized and featured by major media outlets and cultural institutions.
Admitted students must submit an additional scholarship application to be considered for Scholarship Day, where they will take part in scholarship interviews.
