Presidential Lecture Series: An evening with Eric Holder, former U.S. Attorney General under President Barack Obama

September 17 @ 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm

Location: Earlham College, Carpenter Hall, Goddard Auditorium

As the 82nd U.S. Attorney General  and the first African American to hold the office  Eric Holder helped shape national conversations on law, leadership, criminal justice, and voting rights. More recently, he has led national efforts to address partisan gerrymandering and strengthen democratic representation as chairman of the National Democratic Redistricting Committee.  His conversation at Earlham will also draw on themes from his new book, “Our Unfinished March,” co-authored with Sam Koppelman, which examines the history of voting rights in America and the ongoing importance of civic participation in protecting democracy.
