Test Biological Study Area and Dennis Woods
Rules: No Public Access—Entry By Permission Only
This property was originally used for cattle farming, but after being gifted to the College by Fred Test, John Iverson and emeritus professor Bill Buskirk ’66 turned it into a fascinating research area. This property contains three ephemeral wetlands, a 17-acre woodlot, a high-quality stream, a perennial drainage ditch, pasture and large agricultural areas destined for habitat restoration projects in the future. This property makes field study a little more fun for our students and faculty!
