Back campus

Prohibited activities: hunting, fishing, foraging, camping, fires, or disturbance of natural objects.

Accessible from Earlham College’s main campus, back campus has long been a place for students and faculty to take a breath from the everyday bustle of college life. Classes often take fieldtrips to back campus to conduct studies and research under the guidance of our skilled faculty. Whether you’re interested in back campus for recreation or study, our ponds, forests and prairies are breathtaking to visit and instill an appreciation for nature in all of us.
