Wildman and Iverson Woods

Wildman and Iverson Woods are adjacent properties that are worth a visit if you’re interested in trail hiking or conducting forest-based research. Wildman Woods, a gift from Bill ’48 and Ruth Wildman, is a 40-acre forested property that contains a section of old-growth and second-growth upland and lowland forest. The woods have an extensive trail system, and they are often used for course field trips and student/faculty collaborative research.
Looking to extend your hike? Wildman Woods also has several trails that connect to Iverson Woods. Gifted by John Iverson, professor emeritus of biology, Iverson Woods contains an unspoiled stream valley and upland woodlands.

Rules
Open to the public for hiking and nature study, or by advance permission for scientific research. Please stay on the trails and do not disturb or remove anything without explicit permission.
