Preparing for your health career

The health career path is an exciting and challenging one—and Earlham is exceptionally equipped to guide you. We’re proud of the pre-health students at Earlham.

These broadly trained individuals with cooperative learning skills gained through the liberal arts are the kinds of persons that professional schools are seeking.Earlham provides an education with breadth, depth and a host of hands-on learning opportunities that most colleges cannot offer. We also create space for students to delve into moral and ethical issues that inform the decisions healthcare professionals make every day.

There is no “correct” academic major for students interested in a healthcare career. While some Earlham students choose a major in the sciences, many academic majors are represented among our students in pre-health studies. The key is to begin planning early during your time at Earlham.
