How did Earlham help prepare you for your current career?

“How did it not help? Earlham taught me critical thinking, the ability to use consensus principles in my business, integrity, and – most importantly – the ability to write well. Earlham also instilled in me a self-confidence I never had before by challenging me to grow and learn and reach out into the world.”

Why do you volunteer for the college?

“Earlham is a rare and special place. I volunteer because its story needs to be spread. I volunteer to help share the gifts Earlham offers to others.”

Favorite Earlham memory?

“Sitting in Bob Johnstone’s classes, learning about how a political system impacts our world. Also, late night euchre in Earlham Hall.”
