“(I’ve been retired for over 20 years)”

Why do you volunteer for the college?

“I believe that Earlham plays a very important role in educating students to make our world a better place, and I try to support that goal as best I can.”

Favorite Earlham memory?

“Building a huge flu bug during the epidemic of ’57 and displaying it a Homecoming with a sign that said, “If we can’t beat ’em, we’ll give ’em the flu.”
