Homecoming is

Join the celebration on Oct. 13-16

Class of 1993

Dear Earlham College Class of 1982,

When we walked across Chase stage, Ronald Reagan was President, Stevie was harmonizing about Ebony and Ivory with McCartney, Fleetwood Mac was moaning ‘Hold Me’, Willie Nelson was talking about what was always on his mind, Joan Jett was lovin’ Rock n’ Roll, and Marvin Gaye was giving us sexual healing. All of that is long gone, but not forgotten; like us. We are still here, and EC is too. Let’s celebrate that!  Our 40th reunion celebration is October 13-16, 2022! If you haven’t marked your calendar to attend, please do so now. Plan to descend upon Richmond, Indiana ready to renew your commitment to EC. Spend some time on campus and see the many physical changes, meet some students, professors, and administrators, and renew your commitment to EC’s bedrock of learning, thinking, questioning, diversity, inclusion, and personal development. Most of us are still on Facebook or send emails. Some of us are more enlightened (or our kids and grandkids have taught us) and deal with Instagram, Tik Tok or Snap Chat. Whatever it takes — communicate with EC classmates still in your network; tell them that you are going to attend the 40th and they should too. We’ll c u there.
