Class of 1989
Return of the Class of 1989. Coming soon (Oct. 17-20) to a town located conveniently near you [1].
Hey all,
We’re pleased to announce an event that has literally been 35-years in the making! [2] Come back to Earlham campus for our 35th year reunion to see your classmates [3], wander around campus [4] and talk about how things were better/worse than when we were there [5] .
It would be great to see as many folks as possible, so contact your Earlham friends (folks from adjacent years are more than welcome) and make plans to be there. We can also gather some sticks, start a fire and leave it burning [6].
Chris Ney, Jenny Nordstrom, Kirk Bixler and Matt Zook
[1] If you happen to live near Richmond, IN. Otherwise it is a flight into Dayton (IND and CVG are also options) and drive through the rolling hills flat farm fields of Indiana.
[2] Good God, we’re old.
[3] Come on, aren’t you curious about some people?
[4] You can try out your old mailbox combination!
[5] Presumably most things were better in our era, but we thought it polite to be open to the unlikely possibility that they might not be.
[6] Due to “an incident” last year, the Earlham administration wishes to emphasize that this is a metaphor, not an actual fire. Thanks for your cooperation.
