I identify as a White, heterosexual woman and a first-generation college student. Growing up in a lower-income family and navigating the journey of higher education as a first-generation student shaped my understanding of the barriers, uncertainties, and self-doubt that can accompany pursuing a college degree. These experiences strengthened my appreciation for resilience, access to opportunity, and the importance of having people who believe in you along the way.

My personal journey has inspired my passion for supporting first-generation college students and individuals from diverse cultural, ethnic, and socioeconomic backgrounds. I strive to create a welcoming, inclusive space where everyone feels a sense of belonging, knowing their voice matters and their unique experiences are valued. Using a values-based approach, I empower students to recognize their strengths, navigate challenges, and take ownership of their lives and educational journeys with confidence and purpose.
