About me
I am an art jeweler and metalsmith from Dallas, Texas. I received my MFA in Metalsmithing + Jewelry Design from Indiana University and my BFA in Photography from the University of North Texas. My work explores the relationship between collecting, childhood memories, and nostalgia. I investigate longing, control, and delight in relationship to the act of collecting objects during my youth. The meditative act of designing and embellishing my work allows me to connect with the person I once was, giving life to colorful, reflective, and playful ornamentation.

Why do you teach at Earlham?
It has always been a dream of mine to teach at a liberal arts college, where students can receive personalized attention and engage in meaningful conversations while learning technical skills that will aid them well beyond their college years. I respect Earlham’s Quaker background and approach to education; I believe the most memorable classes are guided by mutual respect and push us to develop new modes of self-expression.
