About me

I am a counseling psychologist who specializes in race, ethnicity and other issues of diversity. I teach from a sociocultural decolonized lens, and I teach at Earlham because of the emphasis on faculty-student mentorship and quality teaching.

Scholarly interest

My research interests include racial identity, ethnic identity, Black immigrants, generational conflicts in immigrant families, acculturation and LGBTQ issues. Other research interests include deconstructing White supremacy in the workplace as well as multicultural counseling. 

Research projects

I am currently exploring the generational difference in racial identity, ethnic identity, and acculturation between Liberian immigrants in the US.
