Wilderness Reunion Camping on Campus
October 17 – October 20
In honor of the 50th reunion of the Wilderness/Outdoor Education program at Earlham College, we’re offering camping on campus for reunion attendees!
Suggested minimum donation of $20 a night made to: Wilderness and Outdoor Education Fund. Be sure to note the designation as “Wilderness and Outdoor Education Fund”.
Location
Tent sites are located at Miller Farm (at the end of Gurney Drive)
RV camping (no hook-ups) is available in parking lot H, by Public Safety.
Amenities
- Portable toilets available 24/7 at Miller Farm
- Water pump available 24/7 at Miller Farm
- Showers and flush toilets available at the Athletic and Wellness Center (AWC) during open hours
- Parking available in lots throughout campus and on the street.
- Firepit at Miller Farm is permitted for use. Please follow posted instructions.
Additional information
- When you check-in at registration, a stake with a number will be given to you. Please display your number next to your campsite.
- Campsites are primitive. They consist of a patch of land or a parking space. See above for other amenities.
- Camping equipment is NOT provided. Bring your own tents/sleeping bags/mats/chairs etc.
- Please practice Leave No Trace principles during your stay on campus (plan ahead and prepare, camp on durable surfaces, dispose of waste properly – use trash cans/compost pile/toilet – no digging cat holes!, leave what you find, minimize campfire impacts, be respectful of other campers/neighbors and wildlife)
