How did Earlham help prepare you for your current career?

“EC coursework combined with close relationships with professors helped prepare me academically for graduate school. Additional research and leadership-related activities within the department of biology and the larger EC community not only strengthened my academic pursuits, but also honed my leadership skills and prepared me for a career in life sciences and research.”

Why do you volunteer for the college?

“EC played a huge role in shaping how I am today, and I want to make sure that countless students continue to have similar experiences and opportunities that I had while at Earlham.”

Favorite Earlham memory?

“Late nights in the basement of the science library, walks to back campus, friendship-house hopping, general feeling of being part of a close-knit community.”
