How did Earlham help prepare you for your current career?
“Earlham gave me a foundation of curiosity, collaboration, critical thinking, and intellectual flexibility that has been absolutely essential in my career. Although I was an English major, the habits of mind that I learned at EC helped me transition to a career in software development. Earlham’s strong Quaker identity and focus on intentional community has had a profound affect on how I approach leadership. Because Earlham taught me the importance of working for equity and justice, and of valuing the contributions of everyone, I’ve been able to bring those same beliefs into the way I show up as a professional.”
