How did Earlham help prepare you for your current career?

“My education prepared me to engage critically and actively in the world around me. The academic and community skills I learned at Earlham have served me over years in my work as a partner, parent, friend, organizer, educator, and graduate student. I look forward to stepping into my new career as an occupational therapist in the coming years.”

Why do you volunteer for the college?

“I am volunteering as a class chair as a way to stay connected to one of my best friends, also an Earlham grad!”

Favorite Earlham memory?

“During every home field hockey game, our team had committed fans with flags, drums, and creative “Quaker Army” cheers for the game. This feeling of consistent, passionate support was so meaningful to me, and still makes me smile and feel uplifted.”
