Earlham music instructor featured on WFYI’s Small Studio Sessions

Pavel Polanco-Safadit, an adjunct instructor of music at Earlham College, is this month’s featured artist on WFYI's Small Studio Sessions.Pavel Polanco-Safadit, an Earlham College faculty member and Jazz Ensemble Director, is this month’s featured artist on WFYI's Small Studio Sessions. The program is produced by WFYI, the NPR affiliate in Indianapolis.

He appears with his band Direct Contact, a Latin jazz and salsa ensemble.

Polanco-Safadit details his passion for music during the program. “I think that’s one of the reasons I’m on this earth,” he says. “I want to make people feel happy through whatever we do.”
