How did Earlham help prepare you for your current career?
“Earlham has been great to me and my family. I was able to continue my basketball career, travel all around the world with some fantastic students and forged lifetime friendships with some good people. I wouldnít trade my experience in Kenya for the world. It really changed my life. Earlham has been so good to us that we have three generations of Earlham grads in the family. Myself ’95, my aunt Robin Rucker ’97, and and my cousin Chamia Gunn ’05. For graduate school I went to University of Houston at Clear Lake, where I met my beautiful wife Judy. I’ve been an employee of Exxonmobil Chemicals for 25 years. My wife is a scientist with KBR studying life science as it pertains to the international space station. We have two beautiful children Dante Jr. (14) and Tate (10).”
What is something you have done on council that you enjoy?
“Meeting other local alums has been pretty cool. Also recapturing friendships with old friends is always fun.”
