Alumni Council Nomination

Individuals who completed at least one semester or term in good standing, graduates, and those who have received honorary degrees from Earlham College are members of the Earlham College Alumni Association. Alumni Association members who hold Earlham in their hearts and want to take a positive, active role on behalf of the College are welcome to apply or be nominated.

Active engagement with Council and Committee is critical to Council success and supporting the College. In addition to being passionate about Earlham, Alumni Council (AC) members must be able and willing to:

  • serve a 3-Year Term
  • attend bi-annual meetings (one in the spring and one during Homecoming each fall), either in person or through virtual participation
  • participate in committee virtual meetings

AC may contact the nominator to provide additional information and to determine interest in Council membership.

Selection will depend upon the number of openings, commitment to/active participation with the College, and number of qualified nominees. Additionally, the Council strives to have a diverse council that is reflective of the global Earlham community. Nominees will remain on the list for consideration for three consideration cycles. Re-nomination is allowable.
