Students who major in accounting can enter careers as corporate accountants, financial analysts, business consultants or staff accountants at a public accounting firm. Students can also pursue advanced degrees in Accounting (MAcc), Business Administration (MBA) and related fields.

Career preparation
Accounting majors interested in becoming Certified Public Accountants (CPAs) will graduate with the necessary requirements to sit for the CPA exam in most states, including Indiana and Ohio.
