YOuR GOODNESS IS OUR GREATNESS

Thank you

For Good: The Campaign for Earlham College, which began in 2018 and concluded in June 2024, was the most ambitious and successful fundraising effort in the College’s history. Thanks to the generosity of our alumni and friends, we raised $118 million, surpassing our original goal of $85 million. By securing the Epic Journey, elevating the student experience and widening the path to an Earlham education for future Earlhamites, these gifts will benefit Earlham students — for today, for tomorrow, for good.

For students like Moises Zacatelco

Widen the path to Earlham

There’s a whole population of young people out there who wish to do good in the world but need someone to show them they can. They could do great things with Earlham’s guidance but don’t know it yet, or don’t have the means to get here.

Your generosity has helped us enroll and support more Earlhamites.

Enrich the Epic Journey

Internships, student-faculty research and off-campus study aren’t nice-to-haves, or something students should have to fit into their schedule (or budget). Career-discerning experiences like these are central to Earlham’s Epic Journey progam.

Your generosity has helped us ensure that every Earlham student at least one fully funded experience like this.

Elevate the Student Experience

How can we make our students’ lives more comfortable and fulfilling? From modernized student housing that puts community first to an emergency fund that honors one of our most persevering alumni, we envision a living experience that reflects the spirit of our Principles and Practices.

Your generosity has helped us create an environment conducive to doing the greatest good.

A Transformative Grant Opportunity: Revitalize Richmond

In addition to overwhelming support from Earlham donors, the campaign has also been boosted by a $25 million grant from Lilly Endowment’s College and Community Collaboration initiative. We will use the grant — and $83 million in matching funds from partners in the community — to support initiatives in Richmond’s downtown that will help us recruit and retain future generations of students and employees who will add to the vitality of our community. Together, we’ll transform downtown into a destination that unites people eager to celebrate and renew our shared history of community pride and growth.

A gift to our Earlhamites goes far beyond this institution
