“Mike has had a distinguished career in information technology and brings a passion for helping organizations work smarter and safer,” said Stacy Lutz Davidson, Earlham senior vice president of finance and administration. “I look forward to working closely with him to ensure continuity in our operations while maintaining a cutting-edge infrastructure that can support the world-class education we are known for.”

A Richmond native and a 1996 graduate of Richmond High School, Bottorff is already familiar with Earlham.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to return to my hometown and help Earlham College provide students with an education for good,” Bottorff said. “I enjoy facilitating technology initiatives and providing strategic guidance to help organizations, particularly educational institutions, better utilize technology.

“I approach problems collaboratively and devise straightforward solutions based on solid qualitative and quantitative evidence,” he said. “I look forward to helping Earlham College optimize technology use across the organization.”
