Earlham College has a long and distinguished history as a leader in teaching and classroom experience, according to The Princeton Review\u2019s Best 387 Colleges<\/em><\/a>, <\/em>the 2022 edition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The College is included on two \u201cGreat Lists\u201d compiled to celebrate the popular college guide\u2019s 30th anniversary \u2014 Great Classroom Experience and Best Midwestern. Institutions included in these lists have consistently appeared in previous editions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These new accolades accompany Earlham\u2019s traditional inclusion in The Princeton Review\u2019s Best Value, Green Colleges, and Best Schools for Making an Impact rankings, all of which are updated later in the academic year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cAt Earlham, we have a caring faculty who are committed to providing an extraordinary classroom experience to students from all over the world,\u201d Earlham President Anne Houtman says. \u201cBy combining best-in-class teaching with the career-discerning opportunities presented by our distinctive Epic Journey program, Earlham prepares students to thrive personally and professionally.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In a national survey conducted by The Princeton Review, Earlham students reported that they \u201chave a strong and close connection with professors\u201d and that Earlham faculty are \u201camazing to work with\u201d and \u201cextremely available.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlham is a collaborative learning community that inspires and motivates students to become catalysts for good in a changing world. With plentiful opportunities to study abroad and engage in experiential learning, many students participate in more than one career-discerning experience before graduation. The College\u2019s Epic Advantage program<\/a> guarantees a funded internship, research project or community-based opportunity virtually anywhere in the world.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the classroom and in their co-curricular activities, Earlham students are focused on changing the world for good. As a result, alumni are leaders in a variety of fields<\/a>\u2014 including science, business, international affairs and the arts. Earlham graduates are winners of the Pulitzer Prize, Guggenheim Fellowship, and the Golden Globe Award. They also include diplomats, doctors, teachers and advocates\u2014and most credit Earlham for shaping their world views and preparing them for diverse and dynamic careers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recent graduates have earned some of the world\u2019s most sought-after post-graduate awards, including the Rhodes Scholarship, Knight-Hennessy Scholarship, Watson Fellowship, and the Fulbright award. And about 90 percent of recent graduates are hired within six months or have enrolled in graduate school. Eighty-six percent of Earlham students who apply for medical school are accepted, more than twice the national average.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Earlham is also featured annually in other top resource guides for college-bound students and their families.
