Accounting<\/h1><\/div>\n\n\n\n

Earlham’s accounting program pairs the specialized expertise and skills you’ll need to pursue a career in accounting with the broad perspective of a human-centered liberal arts education. From auditing and work in the nonprofit sector to pursuing the CPA exam, you’ll graduate ready for a wide variety of career opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Because this major is interdisciplinary and fully integrated within our Department of Business, you’ll have the opportunity to take courses in business, economics and computer science in addition to accounting courses as you fulfill your major requirements. Our focus on global engagement and the ethics of business will prepare you to make a profound difference in the world\u2014both as a student and in your professional life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accounting majors enjoy a sunny career outlook after graduation. Students who major in accounting can enter careers as corporate accountants, financial analysts, business consultants or staff accountants at a public accounting firm. Students can also pursue advanced degrees in Accounting (MAcc), Business Administration (MBA) and related fields. <\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t
