ID Cards

Public Safety issues all initial and replacement student and employee ID cards, including those for Earlham School of Religion and Bethany Seminary.

The ID Card is an official form of identification at Earlham College. You are expected to take reasonable precautions to prevent unauthorized use. ID cards are the property of the College and should be presented or surrendered to college officials upon request.

During your time at Earlham, you will find that using your ID will be an important aspect of your college life. Students will use their cards to gain access to residence halls, eating at the dining hall, accessing various events on campus, and more.

It is important to keep your card with you at all times and protect your card from damage as much as possible. Never punch a hole in your ID. Should you desire to have a hole to attach it to a lanyard, come to Public Safety for assistance, or use a lanyard with a holder (which is what we recommend).

In the event that your card is lost or damaged, contact the Department of Public Safety ASAP.

Please note that you will need to keep your card in a safe place while you are away from campus during breaks or semesters abroad, as you will need your card when you return.

Replacement ID cards are available at the Public Safety office for $25.00 (charged to a students account).

A temporary access card can be issued to a cardholder who has lost or forgotten his or her ID.  The temporary card will be issued by the Department of Public Safety, and will be valid for a period of time not to exceed three days.
