Outdoor Education Integrated Pathway

The Outdoor Education Integrated Pathway is designed to prepare students for a leadership role in Outdoor Education or other field-based programs. Through a combination of coursework and experiential learning, this Integrated Pathway (IP) emphasizes educational and environmental theory, interpersonal and leadership skills, and an introduction to technical skills such as backpacking, canoeing and rock climbing. Students interested in completing the IP should submit the declaration form (link below) by the end of early semester break in the spring semester of their senior year.
