Off-Campus Study

Off-campus Programs and May Terms are offered in many areas of the world, including Asia, Europe, Latin America and the Middle East and also include the Border Studies Program and Japan Study.

Through personalized immigration and academic advising, the CGE's International Student Advisers work closely with international students from around the world to help make their learning experiences at Earlham rewarding and successful.

One of the Nation's Best Study Abroad Programs

Earlham College is the home to one of the best Study Abroad Programs, according to the Top 50 Study Abroad Programs Study. The results of this study show that Earlham College — ranked #9 nationally — actively promotes compelling and diverse learning experiences.

More than 250 study abroad programs were analyzed for this study. The rankings were based on the following criteria:

  •       Number of unique destinations
  •       Travel flexibility (traveling in small or large groups, etc.)
  •        Level of Education (advanced versus introductory, etc.)
  •        Level of guidance offered by program

Learning abroad is a great way to experience other cultures while gaining valuable knowledge, and this report shows that Earlham College actively provides diverse learning opportunities to its students.

The faculty and staff in the Center for Global Education are available to all Earlham students to assist with advising for off-campus study programs and international student topics. The CGE is located on the first floor of the Landrum Bolling Center.
