Visiting Instructor of French and Francophone Studies (One-Year Position)

Description

Earlham College invites applications for a part-time, one-year Visiting Instructor of French and Francophone Studies position for the 2020-2021 academic year.

The College seeks a generalist with extensive experience in and a passion for teaching beginning and intermediate language courses, and the ability to offer an upper-level course in the French and Francophone Studies program.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities will include two courses in each semester, Fall 2020 and Spring 2021.

Experience & Qualifications

Applicants with a Ph.D., ABD or M.A. degree are welcome to apply. The successful candidate will have demonstrated excellence in teaching and an interest in involvement with students beyond the classroom (e.g., in French House, in advising special projects, in organizing events, etc.).

Eligibility

Candidates should be legally authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
