Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics (One-Year Position)

Description

Earlham College, a national liberal arts college that emphasizes quality teaching, seeks to fill a full-time one-year position beginning the 2020-2021 academic year.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Teaching responsibilities will include sharing in the department’s introductory, econometrics, and intermediate courses as well as offering electives in your areas of interest and expertise. We are open to any field but are especially interested in someone capable of teaching an advanced undergraduate level quantitative microeconomics course.

Applications should include a letter of interest (that addresses your teaching philosophy, qualifications, and experience), a c.v., two letters of recommendation (which also speaks to their teaching), a writing sample, and a statement (approximately 300-500 words) describing the candidate’s ability to contribute to Earlham’s aspirations to be a diverse and inclusive institution.
