  • New Students: The FAFSA is due by March 1.

  • Complete the FAFSA online:
  • Failure to meet the March 1 deadline may result in the reduction of need-based financial aid.
  • Indiana resident students MUST submit their FAFSA so the processor receives it by April 15. Failure to meet the deadline may result in the loss of need-based financial aid.
  • The Financial Aid Office begins sending financial aid notices to admitted students who have submitted the FAFSA.
  • Returning Students — Accounting emails bills for Spring Semester, payment due late December.
May 15
  • Indiana Residents — Any "edits" must be cleared on your FAFSA with SSACI (State Student Assistance Commission of Indiana) by this date to receive state grants. SSACI will have notified you of "edits" that need your attention.
June 1
  • Returning Students — FAFSA is due.
  • Accounting mails the Fall Semester bills, typically within the first two weeks with payment due by end of July. If financial aid is missing from your bill, please contact the Financial Aid Office.
  • Instructions for completing requirements for Direct Loans will be sent to you during the month by email or regular mail.
  • We recommend you bring at least $500 to campus for first semester expenses (books, personal expenses).
  • Registration Day: Fall semester aid funds can be disbursed to students' accounts, once they are registered full-time. Student loan funds will not be disbursed until Loan Entrance Counseling and Master Promissory Note are completed.
