About Me
As the Global Programs Coordinator in CGE, I advise students on off-campus opportunities and coordinate for the Tibetan Studies in India Program, Border Studies Program, the Boston Internship Program, and the USAC programs offered in Costa Rica, Uruguay, Chile, Italy, Germany, Sweden, South Africa, Thailand, China, and South Korea.
I graduated from Earlham as an English major and Physics minor in 2020 and pursued my Master’s in Global Health with a focus on International Education afterward at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology in Trondheim. During my Thomas J. Watson Fellowship, I visited twelve countries in nine months for my independent project on women in STEM communities throughout Rwanda, Oman, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, South Korea, Argentina, Chile, India, Singapore, the Philippines, and Australia.
I have lived, worked, and studied abroad extensively, having traveled to nearly forty countries and numerous cities from Istanbul to Paris to San Diego. Most recently I lived in Norway for nearly four years and conducted research on Global Health exchange programs between Arizona and Dar es Salaam. My passion for travel and learning began as an undergraduate student at Earlham, where I interned in Shanghai, Edinburgh, and Taipei City. I also participated in the LIFT program to Canada, EPIC Advantage in Costa Rica, and hosted a girls in STEM empowerment camp in Nepal through the Earlham College Peace Prize.
I am full of joy and gratitude to assist Earlham students on their off-campus journeys, be a part of the wonderful team at the Center for Global Education, and experience life within the Earlham community. When I am not working with visas, hosting info sessions, or instructing the Cross-Cultural Explorations course, I am working on writing my novels and poetry, going for walks and drinking coffee (probably simultaneously), or looking at memorable photos from Mount Kilimanjaro, Addis Ababa, Miami, Florida, and other places I have traveled to with my partner, Thomas.
