JB Jarvi-Beamer

JB Jarvi-Beamer ’22’s giant “hugging urns” are a tribute to Earlham’s trans community.

“I wanted to go to a small school because I didn’t want to be a number. I wanted to be somewhere where people really care about each other, a place where community is important. Earlham turned out to be what I wanted and more.”

SNAPSHOT OF THE CLASS OF 2021

The Class of 2021 accomplished big things while at Earlham. In addition to finishing their degrees in the midst of a pandemic, they made a difference on campus and in the world:

  • 249 students graduated on May 22, including those from Earlham School of Religion and the Earlham Graduate Programs in Education.
  • Top majors included global management, psychology and biology.
  • Class of 2021 graduates hailed from 26 different countries and 24 different states.
  • 113 studied or did research off campus while at Earlham.
  • 41 did Earlham-funded internships.
  • Two graduates are Watson Fellows.
  • The Class of 2021 included Earlham’s first museum studies major graduate.
  • Two graduates were the first to participate in Earlham’s new partnership with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine.

We couldn’t be prouder of everything the Class of 2021 accomplished during their time at Earlham.
