I am interested in social justice advocacy and doing my part in my community through the Bonner Scholar Program whether that be in Richmond, Indiana or home in Columbus, Ohio. I would love to be able to travel throughout my entire life, and I am excited to start by going to London for the Spring Semester of 2017. This summer I will be interning with a nonprofit in Columbus called the United Schools Network. Here I will be recruiting students for a small high performing elementary charter school called United Preparatory Academy. I am excited to learn more about the nonprofit and the educational system in Columbus. My biggest goals this summer is to get more involved in my community and to learn the professional skills in the nonprofit world.
