What are you looking forward to this summer?

I am looking forward to two big things this summer. First, I am planning my Earlham Peace Project that will take place in Bhimtar, Nepal in the summer. The project is a post-earthquake relief program that will give locals in the areas with income generating opportunities and resources such as the Center for E-Learning equipped with 20 computers. Next, I look forward to my summer internships at IMS, Samsung Nepal.

What goals do you have for this summer?

My goal for this summer is to learn as much as I can from immersive experience. With the Earlham Peace Project set in a rural post-earthquake zone, I expect to encounter a lot of unforeseen uncomfortable circumstances from food, lodging to the implementation of the project, but my goal is a simple step to solve every problem. Apart from the project, my other goal is to be an efficient and highly productive intern at IMS Nepal.

What do you hope to achieve with this internship?

There are many things to gain from this internship; to name a few:  additional skills and education, networking opportunities, mentorship and learning transferable skills. As a marketing internship, I hope to learn more about different marketing strategies and the overall Nepali mobile market and customer expectations.
