Jalan McFarland '17

My name is Jalan McFarland and I am a rising senior majoring in Human Development and Social Relations. My interests include listening to music, observing some form of art, thinking about space, time, and definitely thinking about how to improve the social world around me. This summer I’m looking forward to having a positive impact on the lives of ladies by teaching a variety of classes for those currently incarcerated. I want them to remember that they are somebody, regardless of their situation. Through this internship I aim to improve my people and organization skills that will prepare me for my dream Life Coaching career. As a result I hope to become more prepared for the business world and diminish any fears of following my dreams and pursuing my vision.
