Faith Jackobs '18

My name is Faith Jackobs and I am a Biochemistry major with a Pre-Health tract. As of Fall 2016, I will be in my third year at Earlham College. I am interested in molecular biology research, so this summer I am interning in a lab in the School of Medicine at the University of Louisville in Kentucky. More specifically, my PI, Dr. Shahid Baba, is in the Division of Cardiovascular Medicine. I love working in labs and doing research so I am looking forward to working in a molecular biology lab. My goals for this summer are to learn as much as I can about the research that takes place in his lab and to work on my own research project. I hope to learn as many different lab skills and techniques as I can that can be applied to research that I will do at Earlham and after.
