I am interested in the environment, science, botany, conservation, and books. Some of my past and current hobbies include martial arts, dance, and horses. I am looking forward to spending some time with my family and reading in addition to work (at my internship and possibly elsewhere as well). My goals are to get in better shape, make money to pay for college, and to learn things relevant to my future plans in science fields. I hope that this internship will give me valuable practical experience with scientific sampling and the politics associated with the attempt to conserve something. I also hope that I will gain valuable life skills in a real-world work environment from this internship.
