I am Arrita, a rising junior at Earlham, and a mathematics major. Beside mathematics, I am also interested in psychology, and currently pursuing a minor at Earlham. I like sports and I like people. This summer, I am interning for United Nations Development Program Organization in Kosovo, and I am looking forward to meeting other country mates who have the optimism to change the circumstances that prevail in this new, developing country. During these two months, I want to become more informed about the problems that Kosovo is facing, how this organization is finding resolutions, and what I, and the rest of the population can do to help. By the end of this summer, I want to be able to count my contributions towards helping Kosovo fight injustice and poverty. Together with my colleagues, I want to work on bringing the hope back to the people, the hope that soon things will get better.
