My academic interests are primarily in research and scholarship, but range across a multitude of disciplines, from clinical epidemiology (especially of tropical infectious diseases and global health crises) to ancient civilisations (focusing on drawing connections between western and eastern civilisations in antiquity).

Through this summer’s internship, I will be able to explore my scientific research interests in an actual clinical setting. I am looking forward to conducting my first truly independent research project. I hope to conduct a good enough study this summer to be able to eventually publish any significant findings in a popular undergraduate journal.
