Sarah Isenberg '18

My name is Sarah Isenberg, I am a junior at Earlham College and I am double majoring in Peace and Global Studies and Spanish and Hispanic Studies. I am passionate about and interested in human rights in many different capacities, as well as traveling, learning languages and dancing. I have had the opportunity to combine some of my passions and interests in my internship working with refugees while challenging my knowledge and preconceptions. This summer I am hoping to not only get more experience in the human rights sector, but also learn about a field I previously have had relatively little knowledge about. I hope this internship will not only do that, but help me to gain more intrapersonal and interpersonal skills in order to help me grow over the summer as well as in the years to come, as well as develop more empathy and gain tools to share what I learn with my peers, family and friends.
