IMPORTANT NOTICES:
Equipment is limited due to COVID-19 precautions.
Class sizes are limited, participation is first come first serve.

Masks are required to and from designated areas within Group Fitness spaces, socially distanced to be
8 – 12 feet apart. Masks are not required during exercise.

Please check at the AWC for updated schedules, as classes are subject to change and new classes may be offered.

 

Class Descriptions:

SPINNING: Spinning, is a unique indoor stationary cycling program that is one of the hottest classes in the local community. This class is for people of all ages and fitness levels and is NOT just a "hard-core" fitness program for elite athletes. Although not required, bring a water bottle, your bike shorts and bike shoes.
*Limited to 15 patrons. – Starting October 12

INTERVAL TRAINING: This class alternates high intensity bursts of cardio with body sculpting exercises. The ultimate body-shaping, fat-burning, and strength training class!

BARRE: Barre class is a 45-minute unique combination of cardio and strength training with a little help from a ballet barre. Perfect for all levels of exercise experience.

GUTS, BUTTS, THIGHS: Sculpt, shape, and strengthen your core, glutes, quads, hamstrings and calves in this 45-minute workout. Various exercises, equipment, and techniques will be used. Intervals of high intensity cardio and strength and toning will be sure to get your heart pumping and muscles burning! This class is mixed level, everyone is welcome.

ZOOMBA: Styled as a Zumba-like class, fuses hypnotic Latin rhythms and easy-to-follow moves to create a one-of-a-kind fitness program that will blow you away! The routines feature interval training sessions where fast and slow rhythms and resistance training are combined to tone and sculpt your body while burning fat.

CORE BLAST:
This core-focused class will tone, tighten, and strengthen the abdominals and lower back. Develop and increase core strength using a variety of training techniques to keep you and your core engaged. This class is the perfect addition to any workout regimen! Appropriate for all ages and fitness levels!

CORE DE FORCE: Is a high-energy, non-contact group fitness class that mixes MMA-inspired cardio drills with explosive power moves for a full-body conditioning workout. Cardio spikes burn major calories. And your own body weight provides resistance—no equipment needed.

PIYO: Designed to build strength, improve flexibility, and tone muscles. Using only your body weight, you’ll perform a series of high-intensity moves. Each PiYo class gives you the physical and mental benefits of yoga while sculpting and toning every muscle in your body. With a focus on mind/body connection, flexibility, mobility, and core strength, it’s the perfect class for every age and fitness level.

RESTORARTIVE YOGA: The main focus of Restorative Yoga is to relax the body. Restorative yoga classes are very relaxing and slow paced. It enables deep relaxation as you hold poses for longer periods of time with the help of props to completely support you. Props are used so that you are supported in your pose comfortably. You will then hold the pose for an extended period of time. This practice is great for anyone looking to slow down, to relieve stress, to calm the excessive mind chatter, or even those recovering from injuries. Restorative yoga is beneficial for insomnia and promoting deep sleep. No yoga experience needed! Props will be needed 3-4 bed pillows and small blankets. Please make your space as peaceful as possible. Feel free to dim lights, light candles or play soft music.
