Empowering

Earlham is a place of innovation and contagious curiosity, a place where “that’s how it’s always been done” doesn’t end a conversation. That’s where it takes off.

Transformative

“Earlham is what you hope college will be like: it’s an adventure, there’s real diversity, there’s mutual respect and the faculty here support you and push you.” —Maya Luney ’17

Exceptional Teaching

Of all U.S. colleges and universities, the Princeton Review ranks Earlham 18th for "Best Classroom Experience" and 20th for "Professors Get High Marks."

Call me Lori

The student to faculty ratio is 9:1. Not one of those faculty members will demand to be called “Doctor” or “Professor.” We’re all on a first-name basis — it’s a custom that goes back to our Quaker roots.

Earlham students are world adventurers and, fair is fair, the world is welcome at Earlham. Earlham is nationally recognized for its study abroad programs and we’re in the top-10 for highest percentage of international students on campus (U.S. News and World Report).
