Monica Silver `04

Monica Silver ECMonica Silver `04 majored in biochemistry at Earlham. In 2010, she earned her Master of Public Health in Occupational and Environmental Epidemiology from the University of Michigan and was also Certified in Public Health that same year. She is currently pursuing her doctorate in Environmental Health Sciences, also at the University of Michigan, where she studies the effects of prenatal exposure to pesticides and heavy metals on infant neurodevelopment.

Monica lives in Ann Arbor but also spends a lot of time at her family's horse farm in nearby Dexter, Michigan. Her favorite memories of Earlham include a May term in Belize and a semester in Scotland, the first days of spring on the heart, fall soccer games with friends, late nights studying in the "sci-li," and forming lifelong friendships with fellow students and professors. She began her term on the Alumni Council in 2016 and is a member of the Campus Affairs Committee.
