Jason Jimerson `85

Jason Jimerson `85 majored in sociology anthropology and in computer systems management (individualized major) at Earlham. While at the College, he was active on the Earlham College men’s basketball team. He completed an M.A. in sociology from the University of Virginia and a Ph.D. from the University of Chicago. He lives in Greenwood, Indiana, working as an associate professor for Franklin College. He began his term on the Alumni Council in 2018, and is currently part of the Athletics Committee. His favorite memories of Earlham include late night doughnut runs, playing basketball in Trueblood fieldhouse, ringing the bell after victories, and taking classes with Professors Maria Chan Morgan, Hal Hanes, Steve Butler, Steve Nussbaum, Steve Heiny, Dan Rosenberg, as well as many other Earlham faculty.
