EPIC Athletics Tour of South Africa

May 20-29, 2019

Join the Earlham men's basketball and women's volleyball teams for a philanthropic sports tour of South Africa. Explore and experience the culture of the region, while cheering on the Quakers at several friendly matches with local teams. This adventure also includes a required element of international community service for all travelers.

Trip highlights include:

  1. An excursion to Robben Island, where Nelson Mandele was imprisoned.
  2. A Cape Town canopy tour/zipline adventure
  3. Shark cage diving
  4. Surfing lessons
  5. Safari at Aquila Private Game Reserve
  6. Several community service projects
  7. Three Quaker basketball and volleyball matches against local teams
