English Language Learners, Academics | Earlham College Skip to Content

Earlhamites come from many different linguistic and cultural backgrounds. Many of us are "multilingual," which means that we grew up speaking a language other than or in addition to English. Our English Language Learners (ELL) program provides ELL courses at Earlham as well as individualized advising and support. The ELL program supports both international and U.S. multilingual students.

Earlham College, an independent, residential college, aspires to provide the highest-quality undergraduate education in the liberal arts and sciences, shaped by the distinctive perspectives of the Religious Society of Friends (Quakers).
