AEC Coronavirus FAQs

  • Yes, Group Tutoring sessions will still be held for CHEM 221, CHEM 331, ECON 101, ECON 308, PHYS 230 & PHYS 235.
  • For BIOL 112, MATH 120, MATH 180, MATH 195 & MATH 280, please contact your instructors.
  • The new tutoring schedule times will be published this week.
  • For access to synchronous sessions look for links on the Peer Tutoring website.
  • Yes. One-on-One Tutoring will be available online for JAPN 102, GER 102, MATH 120 and BIOL 345.
  •  Students seek a one-on-one tutor should submit a request using our online form. AEC staff matches students to a tutor and provides all parties with the information needed to schedule their first online tutoring session. The AEC also informs professors about the match.
  • AEC will not be proctoring exams while the College’s instruction remains online only. Please communicate with your instructors to discuss your exam accommodations in their courses. AEC is available to instructors and students to consult about unique circumstances. 
  • If your instructor is creating online timed exams, please send the faculty notification memo to your instructor if you will need extended time. 
  • Some instructors may opt for alternative assessments (e.g. essays, untimed exams) which would not require exam accommodations.
