Visiting Assistant Professor of Geology

Description

The Department of Geology at Earlham College invites applications for a one-year leave replacement beginning Fall 2013 in the general area of climatology or global change.

Primary Duties & Responsibilities

Course responsibilities include participation in introductory geology courses, as well an upper-level course in the visitor’s field of interest. There is a possibility for extending this appointment for a second year, which would involve teaching an additional upper-level course.

Experience & Qualifications

A Ph.D. and previous teaching experience at the undergraduate level are preferred, although ABD candidates will be considered.
